Your support impacts the future of Epsilon.

Dear Alpha Xi Delta Sisters,

Think back on your college memories…

The memories revolve around our sisterhood – and our house.  The place we laughed, we cried and we prepared for the real world. "Being in a sorority teaches us how to resolve conflict, how to compromise, how to lead, how to live with difficult people. How to make sacrifices for the good of the whole. How to give back." (Jen Lancaster – HouseMoms)

The house mattered then and it matters now.

The new house was designed as a home where memories can continue to be made.  It’s beautiful and something we can all be very proud of.

With all the beauty and pride comes the reality of sustaining the house long-term.  Reality isn’t as fun as the memories but our future depends on it.

Reality –

  • Monthly mortgage payments of $10,000 per month – annually that is one third of our expense
  • A house built for 58, with a budget set at 45 with consistently only 30 women living in the house leaving us with a cash shortage each semester

Future –

  • Our costs to the members living in will go up 15% or more in 2024-2025, but we have to be market sensitive and not over burden our college sisters
  • Our commitment as alumni has to continue.  Like any organization you support in your own communities, the need never ends.  We improve the cash flow, we reduce the debt, we refinance to a lower monthly payment, and we finally get a point where we can breathe and have a reserve for those unexpected repairs and replacements.  Maybe we even get to the point where we can concentrate on just sustaining the beauty of the house!  The possibilities are endless with your support.

To all that have donated in the past, we thank you!  You helped build a beautiful house.

To all sisters, please consider an ongoing pledge of 3 to 5 years to help sustain our house. We need you!
